Nissan Trading Do Brasil Produtos Automotivos Ltda donates Christmas gifts to Children's Home and Elderly Home every year. In 2023, as in previous years, employees prepared gifts, looking at the gift request cards displayed on the Christmas tree.

Beach cleaning activities in Hua Hin Beach, Thailand

In November 2023, employees of Nissan Trading (Thailand) Co., Ltd. participated in a cleanup at Hoa Hin Beach in Thailand. The employees who participated in the activities not only felt that they were contributing to society, but also commented that picking up trash gave us an opportunity to think about the global environment.

Donation of used books to public libraries in Thailand

On International Literacy Day, September 8, established by UNESCO, Nissan Trading (Thailand) Co., Ltd. collected used books for children and young adults from employees, understanding that all individuals deserve equal access to the wealth of knowledge contained within books. The collected used books were donated to public libraries in Thailand.

Participation in Cleaning Activities in Kanda Town, Japan

One of our affiliates, Kyushu Tekko Center Co., Ltd. participated in the Kanda Port Clean-up activities in 2023, as it did last year. They mainly collected drifting garbage such as empty cans, plastic bottles and driftwood on the beach. The company will continue to actively contribute to local communities.

Collecting PET Bottle Caps to Support Childhood Cancer Patients in Mexico

Nissan Trading Corp., Americas (Mexico) participated in a plastic bottle cap campaign to support childhood cancer patients through Banco de Tapitas, a Mexican organization. The social project uses the resources generated by collecting and recycling plastic caps to fund the fight against childhood cancer, while helping to keep the planet clean.

Donation of New Year's Gift Baskets to Public Hospitals in Thailand

Nissan Trading (Thailand) Co., Ltd. donated gift baskets, given by suppliers at New Year's traditionally in Thailand, to the public hospital in Bangkok in 2022. We received appreciative comments.

Participation in cleanup activities in Kanda Town, Japan, for the first time in three years

Kyushu Tekko Center Co., Ltd. participated for the first time in three years since the Kanda Port Clean-up activities, which had been cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, were resumed in 2022. A large amount of drifted waste was collected in about two hours of cleanup work. The company will continue to actively engage in environmental work in the town.

Participation in Christmas volunteer program in Brazil

Nissan Trading Do Brasil Produtos Automotivos Ltda participated in the Christmas campaign as a local volunteer activity and assembled Christmas trees, in which attach cards with picture, name and age of the children. Toys collected by volunteers were presented by Santa Claus to children at the Municipal Center for Early Childhood Education.

Participation in Cleaning Activities in Kanda Town in Japan's Kyushu Region

Every year, Kyushu Tekko Center Co., Ltd. participates in road cleaning activities in local municipalities and in work to remove objects that have drifted into Kanda Port. In 2020 and 2021 these activities were cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but the company is actively working to create a beautiful town in the future.

Campaign Calling for Donations to Mexican Nursing Homes

From 2021, Nissan Trading Corp., Americas (Mexico Branch) began a campaign calling for donations to Mexican nursing homes. Employees who previously had difficulty in donating can now, as a new option, donate through their food coupon card by scanning a QR code and clicking a button, and donations are then distributed according to purchase price.

Donation of Laptop Computers to Elementary Schools in Thailand

In 2018, Nissan Trading (Thailand) Co., Ltd. donated 17 used computers to be installed in the computer room of an elementary school in Bangkok, and this gave the students easy access to the online learning program Royal Project.

Additionally, in 2019 Nissan Trading (Thailand) donated food and 20 used laptop computers to a school in Phetchaburi. This school had no computers that could be used to build its own computer room, and the students walked to a nearby university to receive support for their computer classes. The donated laptop computers were installed in the school's computer room, thereby enabling the students to take computer lessons at their school.
